Our Story

Jennifer is a certified history teacher with 21 years of experience. She obtained her degree at West Virginia State University and has since added on the endorsements of “English as a Second Language” and “Gifted and Talented.” A former National Cheer Coach of the Year Finalist, she is extremely outgoing and enthusiastic. She loves traveling and exploring the countryside. Her favorite stop on the tour is the Penn Center…but she can explain why.

Mike is also a veteran teacher with 21 years of experience. He received his degree in Physical Education from San Diego State University after serving in the United States Navy. Mike also has 30 years of football coaching experience which culminated this past year with the South Carolina Independent Schools Association State Champion, Beaufort Academy Eagles. His passion for sports transfers over to his love of “Jeeping.” Starting this company was his idea; and , he is hoping that this venture could turn into a full-time career.

Meet the vehicles!

Butkus

Butkus is the reason behind Low Country Jeep Tours. Mike is an avid Jeep freak and a high school football coach. He has built Butkus from the ground up over the years. While the older of the two Jeeps, Butkus is definitely the most eye catching. Butkus has a 2 inch lift with 35 inch All Terrain Tires. So climb in and enjoy the ride.

Jethro

Jethro is the newest Jeep Wrangler to the family. A bit smaller, and probably a bit quieter, it does get around. Jethro has a more comfortable ride than Butkus, but it does not have all of the toys on it. Why Jethro? Anyone who is a fan of NCIS knows that LeRoy Jethro Gibbs is not one for fluff.
